Your Role

As our Administrative Assistant, you will:

  • Administrative Support: Perform general office duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Document Management: Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed. Organise and maintain filing systems, both digital and physical.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Schedule appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring timely notifications and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data Entry & Record Keeping: Manage databases, input information, and track key data. Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of all records.
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications, addressing inquiries and forwarding messages to the appropriate team members.
  • Travel Arrangements: Organise travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, transportation, and preparing itineraries.
  • Support Special Projects: Assist with project management, research tasks, and team initiatives as needed.

 

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking ambitious individuals with:

  • Previous administrative experience is a plus (1-3 years).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

What We Offer

  • Salary: £22,500pa – £23,500pa (D.O.E)
  • A modern, central studio location just a short walk from Chelmsford Rail Station and convenient parking nearby.
  • Annual Bonus
  • Regular working hours, Monday to Friday (9 am – 5 pm), with a minimum of 35 hours per week, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
  • 28 Days annual leave including public holidays.
